"I had pictures of my kids done by Patricia for Father's day in 2018. I have two very rambunctious boys, and my daughter, Victoria, who has selective mutism. At the time, Victoria's anxiety was so severe, she would shut down in most situations. We met Patricia in Chestermere where she was able to quickly understand the dynamics of the kids, their personalities, and their relationships with each other, that she took the most amazing photos that perfectly capture who each child is. She worked with my daughter so well that not only did she have Victoria smiling and giggling (something that she was generally incapable of doing in situations like that), but Victoria didn't want to leave after the pictures were done! It was amazing. Months later when Victoria was doing an art show, I had Patricia come take pictures of her while she painted. I will treasure those images forever. Patricia later came to Victoria's art show to do some event photography for us, and once again she was able to capture so many amazing moments. This is not just another photographer taking pictures of your family, Patricia has a gift, she is able to capture beautiful moments and she is able to work within unique situations, with unique clients, and make everything feel comfortable for everyone."

First-time parents and most of my photos are at selfie angle. While I do love those, there's something about having someone else being the one behind the camera, and I'm super happy I decided to get someone else. Patricia met us at our home and took some photos in our backyard, with our kid roaming in the grass, smelling flowers, playing around, and a few "posed" for extended family.
